The Pregnancy Medical Clinic (PMC) is committed to serving women and men in unexpected pregnancies by offering physical, emotional and spiritual support in their difficult situations. We serve Weber, Davis and Morgan Counties.

The PMC is committed to providing women with evidence-based education on all their options, including: Prenatal development, abortion procedures and risks, adoption referrals, and community support.

We provide a tailored interactive orientation and training using media components and classroom learning. Our goal is to build on your strengths and set you up for greater success to ensure a more positive, enriching experience for you and our patients.

As a Nurse Manager at the PMC, you will be able to minister to the medical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient in a more relaxed, friendly, and safe environment.  You will be part of a collaborative team using strategies that are biblically based to provide the best patient care.

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing nursing services to include patient communication, ability to lead volunteer nurses and other medical staff, maintain accurate records and compliance with HIPPA and OSHA standards
  • Partner with the Executive Director and Center Director to evaluate and execute best practices in managing the new “Journey Clinic”
  • Work with the Medical Director to monitor annual CPR review and infection control to provide in-service trainings to volunteers and staff
  • Participate in outreach programs and community education relating to the Journey Clinic services
  • Maintain and increase clinical knowledge of management, obstetrics, gynecological care and patient health issues.

REQUIRED:

  • Be a licensed R.N., P.A., or Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the Utah State Medical Board
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to the Sanctity of Human Life
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory guidelines in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Ability to supervise and train medical staff
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills
